2004 Superformance MKIII

This Superformance MkIII is #22 of 50 “Diamond Edition” Shelby Cobra replicas produced in 2004 and was reportedly sold new in Ontario as a rolling chassis. It was subsequently fitted with a Roush 402R V8 paired with a Tremec TKO-600 five-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in dark silver with light silver stripes over a gray interior and features a 3.71:1 Ford 8.8″ rear end with a limited-slip differential, independent rear suspension, Bilstein adjustable coilovers, Wilwood disc brakes, a driver-side roll hoop, and side-exit exhaust.

The 10th anniversary Diamond Edition was offered in two color options, and this example is finished in dark silver with light silver stripes. Features include a chrome driver-side mirror, overrider bumpers, and roll hoop, along with side-exit exhaust pipes and 427 Cobra badging. A black soft top with 10th-anniversary embroidery, removable side curtains, and a snap-on tonneau cover are included in the sale.

Halibrand-style 15” wheels feature knock-off hubs and polished lips. They are wrapped in Cooper Cobra tires measuring 245/60 up front and 295/50 at the rear and showing 2016 and 2017 date codes.

The cabin features twin bucket seats trimmed in gray leather with latch-and-link harnesses, along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and black carpets. Superformance-branded mats line the floors, and Diamond Edition logos are shown on the seatbacks.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel features a Superformance logo and fronts a gray dashboard that houses Smiths gauges and a lockable glovebox. The five-digit odometer shows just under 33000km. A Pro 5.0 short-throw shifter is shown with a Tremec-branded shift knob, and the parking brake is said to need adjustment.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO-600 five-speed manual transmission and a 3.71:1 Ford 8.8″ rear end with a limited-slip differential.  The car features fully independent suspension with Bilstein adjustable coilovers.
